wank 1780 m, GaPa, DE

when in garmisch-partenkirchen (GaPa), most tourists think + speak about the zugspitze, germany's highest peak at 2963 m. you know what? if you want to enjoy a really nice view over GaPa and to see the zugspitze silhouette, you have to hike from partenkirchen to the wank mountain 1780m in about 3 hours ooooor you can take the wankbahn cable car, which operates since 1928 😇. well, my youngest daughter + me managed to find the mayby last warm october weekend day + wake up on time + climb up the hill. soooo crazy, we have met 2 friends from munich on the top without making any appointment 😊
