folks, i'm writing today just to let you know NOT to visit the lake germeringer see, if you don't have to ... we have much much nicer + more clean lakes in the neighborhood.

well, if you want to go by bike / roller blades and be fast at any lake, so just do ... but remember, i have warned ya, didn't i? well, you want to see few pictures made by new pocket camera before you decide whether to visit germering or not? i'm not sure i understood the camera setting yet, i have just got it few days ago as a birthday gift, you know? but remember, there are nicer lakes and better photograhers out there ... of course, if you like algae, duck shit, barbecue smell and the like, so you are right in munich's mattress city / satellite germering and its lake 😃

lake constance (bodensee) is the biggest, deepest and also the lake with the most water in germany (what a nice silhouette of city of lindau (bavaria), isn't it?)

• once more karwendel: lake barmsee + lake grubsee (unfortunately not grubersee ;-)
• lake alpsee, schwansee, forggensee & the hohenschsschwangau + neuschwanstein castles
• hohenschwangau + neuschwanstein in winter
• schongau
• skiing in lenggries (brauneck area)

• pappenheim - ich kenne meine pappenheimer 😄

• badersee & hell valley canyon (höllental) = ice cold ⛄
• riegsee + froschhauser see = hot, but not really nice

• osterseen ~ 5 to 7 beautiful lakes (ostersee, fohnsee, sengsee, ...) between iffeldorf and lake starnberger see. enjoy the same lakes in winter time, too ~ osterseen

• holzheimer baggerseen - quarry ponds close to nuclear plant :-)
• hintersee + taubensee (ramsau)
• wildensee - for me probably the nicest one
• königssee ~ a very special lake for me and probably the deepest in bavaria

• lake rachelsee + lake waldsee (julbach)
• ++ tirol greets bavaria++ gardasee (lake garda / northern italy) ~ probably the most favorite short holiday destination for munich folks in summer time
