premantura, croatia, HR. thanks to the possibility to work online from abroad, it was our fifth visit here in just 2 (corona) years. initially i thouhgt there is no need to mention this visit in a special blog post ... after i've seen the pictures i remembered there were many interesting things we have seen for the very first time. what exactly? the wild pigs directly in our village, the 92 million-years-old dinosaur footprints and the beach & bar drazice at the kamenjak peninsula. well, we've also enjoyed the safari bar at cap kamenjak from a different perspective ... anyway, if you wanna, do not hesitate to visit my memories from our last visit in may 2023 first 😄

izola, istria, slovenia, SI

what a nice 1st stop-over in izola (isola), istria, slovenia, SI at our way from croatian istria back home to germany. the 2nd one was also great as we have stayed in udine, IT and moved the next day via plöckenpass (IT-AT border), lienz, AT + kitzbühel, AT back to munich. i didn't knew the famous ski resort kitzbühel used to be bavarian for many hundred years ...

well, izola was the last opportunity to see the beautiful adria, but we have decided not to swim there as our last touch with the adriatic sea naked in premantura at an empty beach was much nicer as the convenient to reach but not nice beach in izola 😄🐋🌞. thus we just enjoyed the historic city center, a lunch, izola art, the laundry art in almost every street (is saturday the laundry day in izola?) and especially we've enjoyed the chilli street food festival ciliada, where we've bought a lot of different chilli sauces + 1 chilli booze (schnaps) 👿
