bayrischzell / wendelstein / lake schliersee ~ beautiful bavaria, BY

what a nice childrens' hiking path (männlein-weg) today with only 4 km length and 200 high meters for half a day in the village bayrischzell, which is below the wendelstein mountain (1838m above the sea level) and close to the lake schliersee (777m).

we have been a group of 4 adults + 4 children and have had a nice october weather for hiking, a short period of sun at the siglhof cottage (1000m) and a nice wheat beer 🍺up there as well .. i've took a break + short walk at the lake schliersee later on, too 😊

golden autumn at the würm river, DE-BY

november 23th, 2025: chakka! the 1st snow at the würm river hiking trail ⛄... nice 😉

october 16th, 2022: beautiful autumn in bavaria! what a nice easy hiking trail along the würm river between gauting and starnberg. well, we didn't reach starnberg as we stopped in cafe / kiosk uferlos (= boundless) at the former guest house and today often closed restaurant & event location forsthaus mühltal.
