the ship 'alte utting' and the lake ammersee, a life span friends? not really, my dears 😄

the alte utting got after 66 years of duty (1950-2016) at the lake ammersee a new place for its retirement at a bridge in munich - sendling (in the lagerhaus street) and a new life as a bar, restaurant, beergarden 🍸🍕🍵🍻

what a nice way to spent time with friends! bladenight munich ... every monday evening at 9 p.m. through all summer ... of course, just when it is not a rainy day ...

paulinum ~ walking back in time

how crazy is that? three of us met some 30+ years after we left our student dorm paulinum again just to visit our old well known places 😀~ the LMU university, the surrounding streets, the nearby bars + restaurants which changed most over the time ... our student home still exists and functions as a refugee accommodation awaiting massive reconstruction today.

st. patrick's day celebration, munich

what a nice st. patrick's day celebration in munich's ratskeller, the cellar below the town hall. everything was irish like decorated (or just green🍀😇? ) and the party with at least 2 live bands takes part for 4 days ... 

the celebration is more than just the guinness beer + music. but not much more, if you asked me. bread and circuses ... and yes, the spirit is great, people are friendly and (almost?) all folks are happy => enjoy few impressions 😉
