orava + liptov, slovakia, SK

orava + liptov are the two beautiful mountain regions in north-west slovakia, SK. similar to spis (spisz / zips), poland occupies a small part of orava (PL orawa, DE arwa, HU arva) since WWI, too. shame on them. 

well, the czechoslovakia got from poland (in exchange?) part of the cieszin area (now called cesky tesin (i.e. czech  cieszin, what a parody 😂). any conclusion out there? a great win for the chech republic because of the black coal reserves in cieszin, a zero-sum game for poland and a double loss for slovakia ... sooo sad, but anyway, all folks out there survived and are still part of our human family. they 'just' live and pay taxes in a foreign country, so what? 😜👻😈
