what a nice birthday party of a friend in wachendorf, franconia ... as i can't ask the folks if i could post their pictures on the internet, so you will basically see houses and not people in this blog. agreed? 😇 

pictures of what? from our 1/2 day sightseeing in the city of stein, the home of many timber-framed houses and especially of the faber-castell castle (since 1843) & faber-castell pencil factory (since 1761) at the rednitz river. it is a really nice part of germany (deutschland). i'm not sure if you already knew, faber-castell ist today the worldwide biggest producer of pencils and colored pencils with approx. 6,500 employees and an yearly production of about 2 billions pencils (2 milliarden bleistifte).

ABBA songs + wonderful 70ties birthday party

what a crazy 70ties birthday party with almost non stop ABBA songs in wachendorf close to nuremberg 😃.

well, as i can't ask the other guest whether they allow me to post their pictures in the internet or not, thus i've just chosen pictures where google's face recognition failed ... that should be fair enough, shouldn't it? so enjoy few pictures of the location, my wife and myself :-)
