kitzbühel (kitzbichi) was many, many hundreds years a bavarian city + region. today belongs this famous ski resort to tirol, austria, you know?
well, for us was kitzbühl the last stop-over (it was the #5) after izola, slovenia + udine, italy + plöckenpass IT-AT border + lienz, austria at our way home from istria, croatia. the countries in central europe are quite small and so are the distancies between different regions. on the way back from premantura to munich we have decided to try the shorter but slower way (566 km in 7.5 hours) through HR-IT-AT-DE in two days with a night in udine, IT. the way via ljubljana, slovenia through HR-IT-SI-AT-DE is 626 km long, but takes almost 1 hour less to drive to munich (i.e. 6 h 48 min according to google maps right now) and it is also more expensive as there are more toll roads on the way. 🚙
the town hall (rathaus)
kitzbühl, munich, landshut + ingolstadt = a former alliance of 4 bavarian cities
wilder kaiser massif, alps (alpen)
even after a nice vacation we're to come back home 😇
