BB, banska bystrica (neusohl) in SK

BB = banska bystrica (= neusohl = new sohl = besztercebánya = neosolium). could mean s.th. with salt, couldn it? btw, 'banska' means mining. just do not ask me, what could 'bystrica' really mean in slovak, i simply dont know. google translates it from slovak to german as 'stromschnelle', what is s.th. like a section of a river / creek with fast a moving water. could it be true, that BB's small bystrica river is like that before it flows into the city's main river hron? who knows? 😉

=> what a nice stop-over + lunch in this beautiful former gold + silver (+ later also copper) mining city in central slovakia on the way from einsiedel back to bratislava. we have'd beautiful sunny autumn weather, so the pictures are really nice, if you asked me.

there is an altsohl city (= old sohl = zvolen), too. maybe thats the city i could visit next time when in slovakia, should i? well, i've been in its castle many years ago and drunk some tea in its cool cafe, but never considered to visit zvolen's city center. why not? easy! even 35 years after the end of the socialist era there is still no highway around zvolen, so the car drivers are forced to pass through its suburbs and its smelly industrial zone at the hron river (gran river) => thus i thought the whole city is nothing but ugly 😇

do you dare to visit also neusohl's sister mining city, the nearby unseco heritage banska stiavnica (schemnitz)? or the gold mining city with world's oldest still operating mint (= münzprägeanstalt), kremnica (kremnitz)? of course, you cant know, my grandpa was born in kremnitz and moved to einsiedel after WWII in adult age due to his job in the post's telegraph department in eastern slovakia.
