addendum 2025-10-02: i could visit the oktoberfest with my father + former colleagues this year. we've had a reservation inside a tent, so it was nice as outside it was really cold already. enjoy few pics:

2024-09-29: what a short visit to the oktoberfest in munich (bavaria, germany, deutschland, DE) this year. it was interesting, but not really nice this time ... probably  we did not drunk enough beer, you know? 😀 ... and we really have had a bad luck on our way home as some stupid visitors lost their helium baloon which damaged the power supply line of munich's city train (s-bahn) and we have spent hours on our way home at a really cold evenening ...

how it begun in 2017: the run for beer or were all of these folks hypnotized by colleague of my wife olf (hypnotist; but during the oktoberfest an almond seller in family business) who made this video from INSIDE the feast area. who knows?

if you asked me, this video reveals a lot what is wrong in our world. in order to help others + save the nature there would not be that many folks running like crazy for a beer here, would they?

tooooo many people out there today ... we have moved to the beer garden next to oktoberfest / theresienwiese ... much cheaper and nice as well .... cheers
