what a nice mother's day hiking in the hills: my 2 daughters and me .. well, i'm a quite good mother(-substitute) if you asked me and better do not ask my daughters :-) ... anyway, i'm probably a better mother than a husband & son together ...

brünnstein is a beautiful mountain in the bavarian alps (mangfallgebirge) close to the village oberaudorf and the city of bayerischzell. we have been at the chapel on the top of the (lower) east peak (1619). the main peak is 1634 metres high but not so often visited because the chapel and the view from there is much more attractive ...

and do you know what? the service personnel at the brünnsteinhaus (1360 m), the cottage right below the peak came from my native slovakia ... well, the people from poor countries often have to serve  people in rich countries, so sad :-(

what about the labor day peace and solidarity celebration in the centre of munich?

well, we have had rainy and cold weather, but it was nice to meet friends from many peace & other anti-system movements again :-)

egypt 2016, hurghada

well, the war in mid east (syria, iraq & co.) is the main issue in egypt as well. especially the tourists from russia are hardly missing by egyptian tourist business after the russian passenger airplane was shut down over sinai / egypt few months ago...

well, it was nice + really warm air + water temperatures here even when we have only march, my dears. we enjoyed a rich sports program with volleyball, table tennis + swimming, so it was really nice for us from the tourist perspective. there was even not so much police/army controls as in sinai 3 years ago .... but yes, the folks out there i speak to were quite afraid that even massive protest against the system does not help as the police / army would always crash it down :( ...
well, there is a huge difference between bottom-up protests like the OccupyWallStreet movement 2011-2012 and between top-down organized 'color revolutions' like in ukraine 2014 (maidan), ukraine 2004 (orange revolution) or the capitulation of the whole east european socialists countries soviet union, poland, hungary, czechoslovakia, east germany, romania, bulgaria, etc. in 1989-1990, isn't it?

the munich wehrkundetagung (=military congress) is better known as the security conference today. well, it is still a congress, where the weapon industry meets politics + military officials + secret services => it is a perfect western war planning and war business event sponsored by western industry ...

of course, i do not join the conference but the protest against it. enjoy few pictures ==> PEACE
