may, 1st ~ let's stand up for a better world

as every year, the labor day celebration (tag der arbeit) is a nice opportunity to stand up for a better world and to meet some fellow activists. well, many of the munich's activist and democratic powers have been here: trade unionists, communists, leftist political parties, environmental activists, peace activists ... and this time also groups of kurds, catalans (free catalonia) and iranians, i.e. nations who seek independence or protest against current arrangements of USA/NATO aggression wars against their countries ...

if you asked me, we are still much too few activists and people who care about our community/planet out there in order to actually reach any impact. unlike the OccupyWallStreet (#OWS) slogan 'we are the 99%', the today's world is probably more like this:

• 1% are the really ugly greedy people (sometimes called 'elites') who try to destroy the world for power and profit
• 1% activists protest/fight against the above group
• 98% are ignorants who do not want to see + hear what happens around them and are not willing to say/do anything against the grievances. bread and circuses is everything what counts to them 

and yes, the elites know what destruction and what a death toll their actions / wars / laws / policies cause around the world. just listen what the opposition leader gregor gysi from the party 'die linke' told in german parliament 'bundestag' few days ago (in german, of course) to to german puppet government officials about current geopolitics, U.S. and NATOs aggression wars (= not self defense AND against international law):

the next big thing in munich's activists' calendar is the protest against the new planned bavarian  police laws which will give the police all the power to spy out / ban/ jail / ban citizens without legal trial. the suspicion by police is already enough

CETA TTIP TISA TPP - freedom, why do you die away?

folks, our freedom disappears in slices: capital controls, upcoming cash prohibition, thanks edward snowden we know that NSA & Co. monitor everything, GMO (monsanto &co.) poison our food ... and then there is this ugly dictatorship of multinational corporations over nations and democracy called TTIP / TAFTA / CETA / TISA / TPP and the like ... so sad :-(

well, in munich we have been about 1,000 - 2,000 activists protesting against the CETA, the recently worded trade agreement between the EU and canada

what trade agreements are about

what our planet needs

at least we protest with our feet (and i hope also with our money when buying stuff we need)

munich is a nice place to live, you know?

egypt 2016, hurghada

well, the war in mid east (syria, iraq & co.) is the main issue in egypt as well. especially the tourists from russia are hardly missing by egyptian tourist business after the russian passenger airplane was shut down over sinai / egypt few months ago...

well, it was nice + really warm air + water temperatures here even when we have only march, my dears. we enjoyed a rich sports program with volleyball, table tennis + swimming, so it was really nice for us from the tourist perspective. there was even not so much police/army controls as in sinai 3 years ago .... but yes, the folks out there i speak to were quite afraid that even massive protest against the system does not help as the police / army would always crash it down :( ...
well, there is a huge difference between bottom-up protests like the OccupyWallStreet movement 2011-2012 and between top-down organized 'color revolutions' like in ukraine 2014 (maidan), ukraine 2004 (orange revolution) or the capitulation of the whole east european socialists countries soviet union, poland, hungary, czechoslovakia, east germany, romania, bulgaria, etc. in 1989-1990, isn't it?

divide et impera

so sad, the symbolic 1% of activists fight each other, the majority of the european citizens (98%) ignores all political developments and the real problem remains untasted, so the parliaments, lobby organisations, north atlantic terror organisation (NATO) and other war mongers & aggression pacts (= the ugly 1%) continue their dirty jobs ... so sad :-(

the current activists scene in germany, pegida vs. anti-pegida (source of picture pegida 2014, the activist fight each other for more than a year, the activists become fewer and the refugees and war issue become much, much bigger => are we indeed THAT STUPID?)

well, and there is our demonstration for peace since march 2014 called montagsdemo aka mahnwache für frieden, wich does not target the symptoms of failed politics but the reasons behind like our current fiat money monetary system, corrupt politics, war or lying mainstream media, too ...

and there are many other actions for peace too: endgame (approx once a month in different german cities, friedensfusion, spontaneous demonstration for/against issues like e.g. the demos agains bundeswehr fight against syria on december 3rd with such a nice and clear message provided by one of the german opposition leaders sahra wagenknecht from the party 'die linke' (stoppt krieg, krieg ist terror ... und geht endlich massenhaft auf die straße)

any idea for improvement of this divide and conquer game? YES, let's start to speak and to vote about ISSUES directly, not via political parties. no matter which party do we vote for at election, all of us has a opinion about issues like war, nuclear energy, rescue of financial institutions with our tax money, TTIP, ... => direct democracy instead of 'parliamentary democracy' => WHAT DO YOU THINK about that?

TTIP + CETA + CSU against the people

munich against TTIP & CETA at the congress of the ruling bavarian party CSU ...

why? well, i don't know how much do you know about these trade 'partnerships' between USA, CANADA and EU or any other imperialistic partnership like TPP (read more here) ... to make a long story short, it is a dictatorship of big industry over nations and over their parliaments. the parliaments don't care, they are going to sign the treaty anyway. btw, in berlin, there was a huge demonstration with 250,000 attendees against TTIP few weeks ago on october 10th, the biggest in germany in the last 20 years. if you asked me, i guess, the politicians will sign the treaty anyway, because they don't work for us folks, they work for the symbolic 1%, you know?
