königssee, schönau, oberschönau, berchtesgaden, lake untersee, watzmann ... i love this BGL-region. why? probably because i was here as a refugee 30+ years ago. or simply because it is sooo beautiful, who knows? even if i had to work a little bit this time even on weekend and even if the weather was not that great, it was nice in BGL anyway ...

a stay in the hotel schiffsmeister is like a travel to the past. and yes, there is an inside wisdom i want to share with you, my dears: you can always have coffee, tee and even some durable food like honey or corn flakes in hotel's breakfast room as they do not lock their coffee machine after the breakfast. so enjoy if you are there :-)
