pitztal 3440 m

what a day at tyrol's highest glacier (= gletscher) in pitztal today [pitztal = pitze / pitzbach river valley]. yep, my youngest daughter + me have been skiing on the very last day this season, tomorrow begins the summer in tyrol or at least the skiing season is over ... of course, there are still few resorts open till the end of may (zermatt in switzerland, whistler in canada, etc) and some even longer or all year, but nothing close enough to munich, you know?

well, we have had sun, fog, snowfall, sun + fog again at minus 5 degrees celsius at the glacier (there is a gletscherexpress train from sankt leonhard in the pitztal valley to the top) ... let show ya few pictures

more pictures? fine, just visit my g+ photo album

good-bye skiing season, good-bye ...

weißenburg / weissenburg in bavaria (BY)

a day in medieval weißenburg (weissenburg) = a day in the middle age, my dears ... so many beautiful timber framework (= fachwerk) houses out there :o)

romans? yep, the limes (border of roman empire) is the unesco world cultural heritage site
limes with gate close to the city centre

if you asked me yesterday about weißenburg / weissenburg in the franconia (franken) area of bavaria, germany, i couldn't say a word about it. today i love it. enjoy the pictures in my google photo album (i have to say good-bye my internet connection here is a mess).

jurassic park

day two of natural healing seminar for my wife = day two of sightseeing in the area for me => great :-)

i've been 150 million years back today, almost for nothing. well, 3.50 euros for the museum + 1 euro for those who want to try their luck and find something from past times in the hobby stone pit themselves ... and yes, additional 12.5 euros for this beautiful 625/1000 silver coin archaeopteryx ...

jura, fossils, cheap food + cheap beer (i was in the pampas all day, you know?), great weather => nice, nice, nice time in solnhofen + pappenheim in altmühltal (altmühl river valley).

enjoy more pictures in the corresponding photo album 😄

ich kenne meine pappenheimer ;-)

i know my pappenheimers is most likely the saying you will hear in germany when it is about pappenheim. originally was this expression an ode to the brave and loyal soldiers from pappenheim told by emperor wallenstein in some schiller's poem, today it is used in a negative sense, especially if s.th. goes wrong and you tell you knew your pappenheim folks who would fail for sure :-)

as soon as our hotel's internet connection works fine, i will upload few pictures (or later on from home) of this beautiful, but somehow sleepy medieval city in the jurassic valley of the altmühl river to my photo album and link it to link library about beautiful bavaria (bayern)

medieval donauwörth (danube river, bavaria)

my wife visits a natural healing seminar in donauwörth, i visit that medieval city + its surroundings. in the evening we enjoy to go out for a dinner and spend some time together we usually don't have at home = a real win win situation :-)

this small bavarian city at the danube river is much much nicer than i have expected. enjoy  pictures (maybe too manyin my corresponding photo album and do not forget to visit  the danube river  (donau) + donauwörth in beautiful bavaria (bayern)

nigel farage on euro, slovenia, europe and the upcoming revolution ...

hell, there was a great event in santiago de chile with nigel farage, ron paul, peter schiff, jim rogers ... were all famous libertarian and/or austrian economist over there?

source: wikipedia

let's listen to nigel farage on euro, slovenia, europe, merkel, hollande and the upcoming revolution first (the german translation of his speech is here)

some older nigel farage stuff :-)

... and yes, if i will not be able to find some interesting parts of the speeches from the other guys in order to post them here, so just move to my libertarian & save the planet link library, where all of these guys (paul, schiff, rogers) have already their own 'column' with some of their earlier interviews / videos, my dears ;-)

damn, socialism never works, why don't we try freedom for a change?

addendum january 27th, 2014: Nigel Farage: The clean version is that we need international trade, massive deregulation and rolling back of the state to get the country into a proper economic recovery. The EU is the antithesis of that. - .... i will upload few pictures from the event in munich. the most people will be at the marienplatz from about 11a.m., our OccupyWallStreet group is going to join the smaller, alternative + libertarian event at rindermarkt which is only 150-200 meters away from marienplatz anyway .... i'm not sure if  jürgen aka nemo and his band are going to play at rindermarkt like they did last year. anyway, let's present you my favourite proletarian song with lyrics from a bertholt brecht poem about the coal digger milchsack #4 😃
