BGL ~ berchtesgadener land

let's upload few pictures from our so nice long weekend in the berchtesgadener land (BGL), the very southeast of germany.

our stops in the alps this time were:

• grünstein mountain 1304 m
• e-bike tour with friends to the kührointalm below the watzmann mountain (2713 m)
• lake königssee
• the historic city center of berchtesgaden
• scharitzkehlalm
• the 500 years old salt mine salzbergwerk in berchtesgaden
• dinner with friends in nearby salzburg / austria
• wimbachklamm canyon
• thumsee ~ more bavarian lakes here
• mauthäusl in the weißbachschlucht / weißbachklamm (weissbachschlucht)

 salt production before (by hand): 6 cm per day

salt production 2000 (by hand-machine): 2 m per shift
salt production today (by machine (special bagger): 6 m per shift
=> that's a great example how fast we ill-use earth's resources nowadays :-(

the last day

well, there was s.th. strange in the rainy air. and there was this sad beautiful white pigeon which just did not fly away ...

my new boss and me, the only two people in the office on that late friday afternoon, thought it came to say us the worldwide peace is here ...
i have bought some bread in the vending machine to feed it, but it didn't touched the bread, just ran from one side to the other ... so strange ... it was not hurt as i could see it, but maybe it did not recognize from its floor perspective that it has to fly 3 floors up in order to come over the glass wall to reach its freedom ... but a bird should be able to fly even more than 3 floors up, shouldn't it?

few hours later it was dead :-(, probably because it flew directly against a glass door / window / wall ... R.I.P, single pigeon

any lessons learned? yes! it is important to change the perspective in order to see the solution / rescue ... it is important to live a fulfilled life as we never know when it will be over

some wisdom from sadhguru?

btw, paul mccartney's 'single pigeon' was my favorite song before my youngest daughter was born ...

i do not know, what is wrong or somehow different: the clouds, the air, the chemtrails, my eyes or my camera? why? i have seldom seen such nice colors in the heaven as there are the last few days over munich ...
of course, there is raining a lot and then we have shiny sun rays ...

the house with the red flag ~ das haus mit der roten fahne

july 8th, 2022: what a nice evening in the house with the red flag (das haus mit der roten fahne). communists from munich and nuremberg performed revolutionary and peace songs and a theatre parody with the masks of olaf scholz, annalena bearbock, carsten breuer (a general who leeds the fight 'against' corona virus in germany) for peace in the ukraine.

MY CONCLUSION? proletarians of all countries, do not support the war industry. do not fight in (capitalists') wars. why? only you and your sons will be the soldiers who will die in the war fields, not the string-pullers, politicians, manipulators, warmongers in mainstream media => workers of the world, unite!

may 14th, 2017: what an interesting experience! friends of mine took me to a film presentation in the old communist movement center in munich: das haus mit der roten fahne (the house with the red flag).

it was a little bit like a museum: old but still working and operating printery, library, meeting rooms, cinema, bar, storehouse, many many old (+ new) posters and flyers, ...
well, the communist groups use to meet here for more than 40 years, but now wants the city of munich (the house owner) shut it down ;-(

we have watched sergej eisenstein's silent film the general line (also know as 'old and new' which is the direct russian translation) about celebration of the collectivization of agriculture .... there was so much poverty shown in the soviet villages and also the factory workers have to work probably 12+ hours a day then, so in that context made communist ideas a lot of sense, if you asked me.
unfortunately, the whole eastern europe and all other socialists countries did not reached communism, but developed a dictotorship of (communist) politbureau instead. sooooo sad ...

ANYWAY, our wealthy and reckless society can't develop much further the current way as we destroy humans and especially out environment + nature at a brutal speed, so we have to change the way we think and act => Я Ξ √ Ω L U T ↑ ☼ N

if you asked me, the best way into a peaceful and sustainable future is the path, which jacque fresco described (resource based economy without money & monetary system. it is not utopia, just listen to this genius architect & inventor):
