cross-country skiing with children ~ bayrischzell

of course, the war in ukraine is sad and if NATO gets involved, we will probably face WW3 ... well, i can't watch too long all that ukrainian and (also few) russian videos on youtube and not get crazy. soo sad ... many russian channels are censored in germany and here in croatia, as the NATO members do not allow their inhabitants to get any information from the 'other side' (russian informations) ...

in order to focus my attention also to some other topics, i've just uploaded pictures from my first ever cross-country skiing (schilanglauf) with my daughter in bayrischzell. it was not the first time i could learn s.th. from my children, you know? my first ever snowshoes hike or preparing of sushi or a visit to malaysia & singapore were also a new experiences for me.

enjoy few pictures:

marshall b. rosenberg ~ nonviolent communication

marshall bertram rosenberg (1934 - 2015), u.s. psychologist, best known for his concepts & teachings about nonviolent communication.

marshall b. rosenberg at a workshop in israel 1990 speaking with the wolf's & giraffe's voices.

my friends, alfred adler's psychological approach was not the only audio book, my wife ["the best of all wives" (at least for me) πŸ˜ƒ] and i have heard on our journeys, of course. anyway, it remembers me there was another really great "stuff for our minds", the communication concepts by marshall b. rosenberg, we have had on our agenda through eastern germany in june 2020. hearing adler, we tried to move our relationship to a horizontal relation (, where it already was, if you asked me).

hearing rosenberg, we tried to communicate in the way, that we started to:

  1. understand the other party's needs behind the words / arguments told
  2. observe what kind of feelings were created in us hearing other party's arguments
  3. tell the other party what happens in us when we feel what it wants
  4. tell the other party (= the most emphatic woman in the universe i know πŸ˜) as a pray which behaviour / reaction / solution i'd wish she would do. (just in case you do not know the difference between a pray and a demand: a pray accepts 'NO'. you see?)
only 4 steps? seems easy? yes, but it is not ... it is worth to try it and yes, you can also get (professional) help on the issue in vast number of trainings folks provide following rosenberg's method probably also in your area / location ... => will you?

as 2020 is already few seconds away and i cannot remember all the details, so i just looked up some information at wikipedia. of course, i do not have any qualms of conscience to copy a part of wiki's knowledge here as i support wikipedia financially almost every year. btw, my youngest daughter also does 😍. that could mean, children learn by example and not by the words we teach them day after day. what do you think?

wikipedia.EN => .... (marshall b. rosenberg) He worked for four years in Norfolk, Virginia's school integration. As a caricature of his program in street talk he offered this version, spoken to himself

Thug, identify observable behaviour. Identify feeling. Identify reason for feeling. Identify wants. Put that out. Make sure other person connects with it. And thug, you'll know a miracle start to happen after a bit. ... <= wikipedia.EN

let's stop violence and let's turn our world into a place of love & freedom & support & understanding. will we? 😍

learning from children how 2 make sushi + how 2 SAVE the WORLD

what a day with family & friends! cozy breakfast, bowling, learning 2 make sushi, playing darts, all day with family + our children friends ... it has rained all day but nobody cared, nice! btw, i've also uploaded few pics :-)

you know what? the really strange part of that 4 me? well, the best ideas came from our children ... hmmmmm, we really can learn a lot from our children:

OMG+OMG+OMG! even 13 year old children are much smarter + much more awoke than all the adults running the world ... shame on us adults for not making the world better :-( ... it wouldn't be difficult or costly or whatever else we fear that much ;-(

of course, i've already collected and linked together more of this kind of stuff ~ enjoyπŸ˜„
