brandenburg IV

our next stop after the bavarian fichtelgebirge at our holiday journey through germany in june was the east german federal state of brandenburg, BB.

i've seen sooo many beautiful things out there, especially timber framed (fachwerk) buildings and lakes .... and yes, i've had birth-day too and the best of all wives provided sooooo many gifts for me for so many days that i'm going to anchor this birth-week in my mind forever 🍀💕🍀

bad belzig
brandenburg is beautiful, you see? the church in bad belzig where martin luther preached at 14.01.1530 + the nicest legs i've ever seen 😂

our base camp was the city of brandenburg an der havel for 3 nights. we have seen quite a lot, if you asked me:

  • castle burg eisenhardt
  • city of bad belzig
  • havel river and many lakes the river is forming aka flowing through ...
  • lake beetzsee incl. a canoe tour
  • the city of brandenburg an der havel
  • sanssouci park in potsdam
  • lehnin monastery / lehnin abbey
  • havelberg
  • gross breese
  • wittenberge
  • elbe river

we have continued to schwerin (federal state of mecklenburg-vorpommern) and the baltic sea, but came back to eastern brandenburg for few more days during the return trip to the regions uckermark and spreewald
