demo against nuclear power

well, the sun has soooooo much energy, isnt it? it gives us enough day after day after day after day ... why is homo sapiens that stupid and undergoes all that nuclear danger?

well, in germany did the black/yellow government (CDU/FDP) recently prolonged the original lifetime restriction for nuclear power reactors and once again served its buddies in the power generation business instead of the german people ;-( ... => ...

... never again black/yellow!

there were 50,000 folks protesting against that in munich 2day! what a great people-chain moving from the old city hall to the odeonsplatz square where the main meeting took place ...

ive been there, my 3 women as well ... a great sunny day! well, my youngest daughter enjoyed the event with her friends cos she went shopping straight after that ;o) ... but anyway, all of us 'told' our corrupt government what we want and want we dont ...

folks, do u know what my hottest anti nuclear action was? ive switched from my conventional power supplier to a green power supplier 3 or 4 years ago (well, its greenpeace energy) => so there is no deadly dangerous nuclear power and even no climate destructing coal/oil/gas electric power in my house for years! the green power is even not much more expensive than the conventional nuclear/climate killers these days, u know?

few more pics? here we go:
the chain against the nuclear lobby

1 beauty demonstrator :-)

btw, who has the power 2 change things? THE CONSUMER, i think ... heya consumers, lets stop buying/supporting nuclear power! will we?

nuclear mafia ... shudda we consumers say NO to their dirty power and #gogreen NOW?

btw, how sounds a peace and/or green energy demonstration? what abt that?

siemens - the green giant?

what abt 2day's AGM (annual general meeting)? here the highlights, will prolly add some blah-blah later :)
  • great economic success despite the financial+economic crisis out there
  • very, very, very sustainable orientation on green products the world needs
  • biggest green company out there with EUR 23 billion in 'green' revenues (wind + solar energy, efficient light bulbs + energy transformation over long distances, electric cars + motorcycles, medicare, facility management, ...)
  • compliance / corruption issues after 2 or 3 years terminated
  • best stock in dax30 so far (+4.6% on a very weak general market conditions, closing quote +5.14%)
  • unchanged dividend
  • good outlook for the future despite tough economic situation thx 2 well positioned products + solutions for the expected 'green revolution' especially in the infrastructure field
  • the problems of the earth will not be solved in (political) conferences a la copenhagen, but through the development and adoption of sustainable, resource saving technologies a la solar energy project desertec in the sahara ... an area 0.3% of sahara's surface would provide enough energy for the whole world ... so unbelievable, i hope i got it right ... (and that would be clean energy!)
  • much more

#jarobuys VERBUNDGESELLSCHAFT

folks, let's take some advantage from lower prices after few days of fear and panic on the stock markets and open a small initial position in that sympathetic austrian green energy producer (esp. water power :-).

well, they are approx. 45% down from their all-time-high in winter 2008 (still remember the damned oil quotations up to $150?), they pay dividends about 3%, there should always be need 4 energy and thus some business 4 verbund ...

btw, why not a huuuuuuuge position straight away? damn! are you kidding? you know i've invested already much more as i should recently (still remember the plundered funds of last resort?)good luck, my green portfolio member :-)

folks, few interesting comments taken from the corresponding discussion pages @ www.informedtrades.com):

... the most often mentioned seasonal reason for gold is prolly the wedding season in india, who (which?) is the major consumer of physical gold worldwide, i think ... but there is for sure every year a wedding season in india, isn't it? but why did gold/silver rally just in years with odd numbers and not in even years? that will prolly forever stay mr. market's secret ... unless someone finds out some major relationship to the moon calendar or the like good luck,j.

ps: how much is 1 oz gold in USD?
  • july 17, 2009 = $935.0 ........... today
  • dec 31, 2009 = $1,096.5
  • dec 31, 2010 = ?
  • dec 31, 2011 = ??
  • dec 31, 2012 = ???
  • ...
addendum 12-31-2009: what abt recapitulation at the end of the year?
yep, gold rallied a lot in fall & winter and it has reached a new all-time-high at $1,226 on december, 3rd ... well, after that it fell a little bit and closed the year 17.27% higher than in july at $1,096.5 (~spot price @ kitco.com, btw, all 6 websites i looked for the closing price had slightly different quotes => crazy!). anyway, the fundamentals for gold have improved since then (more paper money out there, decreasing gold production (peak gold!), increasing (investment) demand, central banks are buyer on balance, etc.) => therefore let's enjoy the GOLDEN RALLY in 2010 as well

of course, do not forget the SILVER!
