there are more braunaus in the world than just hitler's birth city braunau am inn in today's austria (AT), you know? where? 

• braunau (called broumov today) in the czech republic, CZ. we have visited the beautiful nearby rock formations in adersbach few years ago
• braunau (called brunow today) in poland, PL. we've just spent 2 nights in this castle hotel in silesia aka schloss braunau in schlesien aka slask aka silesia.

it was very close to the highway and it looks really nice, but because 

of algae (algen) we couldnt swimm out there 🐋

lake waldschwaigsee ~ karlsfeld bei münchen

what a nice afternoon with children at the quarry pond (baggersee) waldschwaigsee between langwied and karlsfeld 😊 it is a quite quiet place with no playground for children, no beach volley area, no barbecue area ... and there is just a small kiosk with a really limited selection of food ... anyway. it is a nice place to go close to the 3 crowded langwieder lakes, too. btw, the parking place in the langwieder street is still for free and even at a hot weekend day like today not overcrowded. 

i was not completely sure what does 'schwaige' mean and thought it could be s.th. with water. well, i've asked AI and look what they answered: Der Waldschwaigsee bei Karlsfeld verdankt seinen Namen einer früher dort bestehenden Waldschwaige, also einem Gehöft mit Viehhaltung am Waldrand. 😄
