sumava, böhmerwald, CZ

sumava / böhmerwald aka bohemian and/or bavarian forest visited from the czech side of the hills (CZ). we have hiked to the two in my opinion small glacier lakes cerne jezero (black lake), which is the biggest natural lake in czech republic and certovo jezero (devils lake). we've stayed in the more or less closed ski resort hotel karl with 8-10 other guests and restaurant closed in the village of spicak (spitzberg) bei zelezna ruda (eisenstein) in the german-czech border area.

same procedure as every time when in neuhaus am inn: my wife visits her friends and i spend the time in the nature in the surrounding NP böhmerwald = bayerischer wald = sumava. my highlight this time were the swimming in half-frozen lake in neuhaus and skiing at geisskopf and in the hochficht ski area at the DE-AT -CZ border
