unbelievable, the inflation monster (picture) was really created by the ECB (source: ECB (!!!)): and yes, the whole ECB inflation website is a bad joke if you asked me ;o): 

well, if FED + ECB are going to print money like crazy and the inflation monster is going to eat us alive, let's try to protect myself & my family a little bit => let's buy some gold + silver related assets => go gold bugs go and lets crash the fraudulent paper money system NOW

watch out folks, the inflation monster released ...

folks, the inflation monster is out there, you know? well, after both the FED and the ECB committed to print money (or buy junk bonds like the greek / spanish / italian / etc in UNLIMITED amounts) there is no other way than hyper-inflation ... what about today's commodity markets? gold +2%, silver +3%, oil +1.6%, coffee + 2.5%, copper +4% ... well, poor consumers. hell, that's all of us, damn ... got gold? go gold bugs go, anyway :-)

who cares? my micro trading account likes all that financial mess out there it a lot, it was +18% today, especially thanks to the silver + oil price increase and yes, after a lot of suffering my account is +5.5% since the re-entry in may with initial capital of 2,000 €uros. thanks my dear mr. bernanke, thanks my very dear mario draghi, thanks all my dear stupid politicians ... see you in the inflationary hell soon ... unless the inflation monster eats up all of us  ;-(

addendum september 22th, 2012: 3 current examples from germany i have encountered TODAY: 

• döner kebab lunch at the turkish restaurant around the corner +10% since my last visit
• bus / tram / underground tickets in munich as announced via top headline in one of munich's newspapers +3.7%
• probably most important, the price increase of beer at the just opened oktoberfest is +3.87% since last year ... damn, we are going to pay 9.30 €uros (= USD 12.07) for 1 liter of beer this year

what to do in dubai when the connecting flight is 11 hours apart? well, lets go out in the city, by train / monorail is the city only 15 minutes away from the airport  .... OMG, i have seen the rising sun, the empty creek with all these waiting boats, empty bazaar, the modern city, some shopping malls, the highest building on earth (have been up there but didn't buy the offered investment items from the 'gold to go' machine because i hope have already enough ~ well, interesting they sell gold on top on the man made universe and no paper currencies, isn't it?), went to the beach, swam in the persian gulf, ate some arab fast food (chicken kebab wrap), came back to the airport and still had to wait 2 or 3 hours for my emirates flight to munich ...

well, the two most lasting impressions are first the cleanliness of the city (there were almost everywhere trash cans and people making some special areas clean (airport / shopping malls / toilets / etc.) and second its openness & diversity (the arabs are a small minority if you asked me (there are so many indian / chinese / thai / european people out there, most of them foreign workers i suppose ...)

back to KL, malaysia for 2 more nights ... let's say hello to our eldest daughter again (she will probably stay till november), write some postcards, walk through the city, eat some fine THAI food and drink some fresh squeezed out juices (on koh samui, thailand they used to have only juices from the bottle / can), swim in the hotel pool,  ...
