lucky me :-) my growing 10-bagger family

folks, lets welcome the next family member, levon resources (gold in nevada/usa):

of course, thats the sexy part of my portfolio ... pls dont ask me 2 show u the unsexy one :-)

go gold bugs go

btw, the current price for novagold shares @nyse equates approx 6.03 €uros, so the stock should go up in germany on monday morning ...

OMG! levon increased 2day by 9.9% and its closing quote CAD 1.11 (what a number!) equals approx 0.84 €uros , so it also should go up in germany on monday morning ...

holiday investments?

u know already my favorite activities, dont u? instead of swimming/sunbathing/eating/drinking beer, #jarobuys:
  • scorpio mining - silver in mexico
  • andover ventures - gold in queebec/canada, i think, shoudda look-up in my former blog post? well, not yet, its holiday season now ;-)
  • penn west trust (yesterday) - oil + gas in canada, a steady monthly dividend payer, it will balance my sometimes overstretched margin account, i hope ;-)
  • aurizon mines - gold in queebec/canada
  • orko silver (2 days ago) - silver in mexico
  • fortuna silver (2morrow) - silver in mexico
  • ...
  • novagold (after tomorrow) - gold in canada + usa ~ the soros / paulson investment ...
  • 1st majestic silver (after tomorrow) - silver in mexico ... thats my silver bullion dealer, u remember?
  • kinross gold (next day) - gold everywhere, one of the biggest gold producers in the world ...
  • osisko mining (next next day) - gold in queebec\canada, ive prolly watched too long at my osisko (baseball? anti sun?) cap .... and bought 200 shares instead of 20 via my margin account .... of course, sold 100 shares immediately cos i didnt wanted too much debt in my account
  • impact silver (later on) - silver in mexico - my last holiday investment issue ... any reason 4 that? yep, on my very last day in tunisia ive discovered the undersized label 'impact' at my bathing shoes and prompt decided 2 increase my existing position in that promising silver producer a little bit further ... of course i take investment decisions only on intuition/dreams and the like, u know that already, dont u? ... btw, osisko & penn west are a little bit down since my entry, all other companies advanced sooooo very nice
folks, im happy ive decided NOT 2 spend money on gold&silver call options and invest in some of my gold&silver explorer/junior producer companies instead ... why? IMO there is a much better risk-reward-ratio :-). good luck, my sweet holiday investments, good luck

ps: ive chosen my scorpio mining t-shirt 4 dinner! we have 2 help luck a little bit, isnt it?
pps: dont worry, of course i ve been already swimming/sunbathing/drinking beer
ppps: the best gold/silver investment team ever? the tooth pick gang! lol

top 10 :-) ~~~ ugh! 10 :-(

folks, the loooong lovely easter weekend arrived on planet earth => lets take some time to switch my portfolio view from 'summary' 2 'detail' and look also at the 10 best and 10 worst single trades. lets start with the best ... damned hell! i even didnt know there is already a ten bagger in my portfolio yet! well, the rio alto minig appears approx in the middle of my summary list and my 1st shot at that stock is 'just' +27%, so i even didnt realize what a clever fox in december 2008 i was! tax free +1,045% (because of old german tax law before 2009), indeed!

top 10,

top performance => top feelings :-)

well, there were also few mistakes on the road => ugh! 10,
http://www.informedtrades.com/members/jaro-g-/albums/album-2/233-ugh-10.gif

poor performance => ugh! feelings :o)
... or is it just an impact of caffeine on human beings? lol ... that coffee was prolly a little bit too strong

OMG! why didnt i buy just the 'good' stocks ?!?
cheers, anyway :-)

addendum, 04/04/2010: what abt a ten bagger bought with the proceeds of a ten bagger that was also bought with the proceeds of a previous ten bagger (100,000%)... => happy easter dreaming, isnt it? of course, ten baggers are fun . btw, the 2nd position novagold is also a ten bagger as it has also increased more than 10 times (bought @ 0.518 euros, current price 5.47, the last column shows already the profit).

even more fun as the profit itself is the story behind rio alto mining . the explorer companies always have their own stories, you know?

well, the rio alto guys called themselves 'mexican silver mines' 1 or 2 years ago. then the ugly crashy october 2008 arrived and the price of most financial assets crashed like a crystal vase on the floor ... not so bad for mexican silver! they still had 7m cash in their vaults, so theyve decided not 2 waste the cash on exploration of its projects and started ... got it? my lovely explorer company didnt like 2 waste cash on exploration?!? unbelievable, isnt it? just read a part of their old news release: .... .... The Company feels that these funds are better used to look for strategic alternatives which are presenting themselves to Mexican Silver Mines rather than in spending these funds on exploration. In today\'s market it is cheaper to buy than to explore and drill for production and resources. ... well, theyve started 2 look for acquisition targets like producing mines or competitors. after a while theyve bought rio alto mining with its gold-copper project(s) in peru! hmmmm, somehow stupid 2 call the company mexican silver mines if the major project is located in peru, right? no problem, lets take-over competitors name as well

fairytales 4 hardcore fans of exploration/mining business, company's website

folks, btw, how could we motivate my biggest position scorpio mining to become a ten bagger soon? any ideas out there? lol

mr. market likes me + my stocks; merry xmas :)

i had to remove the original picture due to google ad sense policies, so here is just the link to it: here

why? just look at my top 3 positions yesterday:
  • scorpio mining +4.84%
  • novagold +15.24% on a news message, which IMO is not soooo bombastic (NovaGold Resources Inc. (NG) today announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase a 100% interest in the Ambler property in northern Alaska, which hosts the high-grade copper-zinc-gold-silver Arctic deposit.). well, novagold is my new #1
  • u.s. gold +11.30% no news, my guess? i think the folks out there recognized that u.s. gold is not 100% the same as GOLD itself and therefore there is no need to 'send' us gold from $3.47 a share to $2.25 a share only because gold went from $1,200 to $1,100 => ??? => any other opinion out there?
of course, on a day when the top dogs perform like crazy, my portfolio reached a new all-time-high :-)
thx for this nice xmas gift, mr. market, thx!

(source: unknown)

ohhh, just found a 2nd santa on the internet, which one do you like better? folks, i'm not sure, but could this santa and that pretty google's search it for me girl be the same person from flesh&blood? hmmmmm, i don't know

(source: unknown)
why santa didn't show up ...
(Source: Larry Wright, December 24, 2009)

addendum, monday, december 28, 2009: crazy, crazy, craaaaazy!

folks, i'm such a lucky alien! mr. market read my blog on the weekend, he liked my 3 santas like hell aaaaaand today there is both, ALL-TIME-HIGH in my undiversified investment account (gold, silver, commodities, energy) and ALL-TIME-HIGH in my commodities CFD account, which is, of course, also undiversified. thx, santa! thx, mr. market! thx

hell, hell, hell!!! it is the inflationary hard assets rally out there, isn't it?

ps: commodities? commodities! just look at my CFD-trading positions:
  • natural gas +5.49% (my biggest position)
  • silver +0.87% (my 2nd biggest position)
  • corn +2.21%
  • wheat +3.58%
  • coffee -4.22% (my smallest position)
  • orange juice +2.03%

all-time-high in my portfolio again :)

yabbadabbadoooo!

my portfolio is back @ its all-time-high level again (btw, my stocks have needed 3 weeks to recover from the collapse in the last october days, their 'underlying' gold/silver recovered much sooner and broke out to new golden all-time-highs :-)

bye-bye, fraudulent fiat money system!
ps: i've bought 4 mining stocks and 1 geothermal company today (my ideas from the 2 days spent @ the munich's precious metals show/conference on friday + saturday). will make a new blog post soon. the highlight? me trying to steal the soooo shiny canadian 100 kg gold coin, but now i have to start to collect documents for my pretty tax advisor first and finish the stupid tax payments for 2008, otherwise i will have to keep posting from jail :-(
and i'm hungy too!

btw, i hate taxes!

addendum, november 19, 2009:

crazy financial markets or just crazy folks on the markets?

heya folks, you know, my portfolio was at all-time-high yesterday. well, that was yesterday :-( ...
today it was a little bit down through the day (approx. -1%), after market closed in germany i just wanted to see the results for the day ...... well, my 5 biggest positions performed like this:
  • scorpio mining -10,31%
  • novagold -10,43%
  • acadian mining -3,45%
  • u.s. gold -7,88%
  • orko silver -4,17%

i just thought: oh my dear, gold has fallen to zero and silver much below that! you know what? after a small intra-day loss both gold + silver have recovered and the current quotes are:

  • gold +0,15%
  • silver +0,03%

hell, how stupid is the homo sapiens financialis really? no, i'm not gonna 2 swear abt that this time ... i will better go take a bath and look later if the gold/silver stocks fell the same rate on the u.s. + canadian markets as well :-). did they?

btw, dear readers of my blog, i'm not going to bore you 6 times in 10 days with a message that my portfolio is a little bit higher again (it is a very natural thing in an uptrend :o), but i really wanted to tell you how unbelievable stupid we 'financial' folks as a group are ...

2 weeks on holiday ....

... and the financial markets survived also without my steady attention ... isn't it crazy? i wouldn't believe it :o)

well, we've been in slovakia + poland visiting my and my wife's family, our children had some pleasure to meet their cousins, aunts, uncles, grandpas + grandmas, so they welcomed the opportunity to speak polish ... i hope they will not forget that languauge completely when they get older ...

folks, SK + PL are quite cheap countries (especially when lodging @ family's houses :o), so i could invest some surplus money in few of my favorite stocks + 3 new companies:
  • scorpio mining - Zn, Cu, Ag, Pb
  • novagold - Au
  • constitution mining - Au, Cu - new
  • amerigo resources - Cu, Mo
  • cardero res. - Fe
  • penn west energy - oil, natural gas
  • wacker chemie - chemicals, solar industry - new
  • logitech - IT hardware - new
  • barrick gold - Au
=> good luck, my lovely portfolio addendum!
