march against monsanto (munich)

the worldwide march against monsanto (aka march against GMO) continues in 2014 further => => enjoy the protest :-)

in 2013, we have had 3 or 4 events in munich (pictures + insights from october 2013), this year  there was a lot of good mood among the activists, healthy vegan food, few speeches (including jörg bergstedt), tons of really good music and yes, you will find my 1 minute statement  as well    http://youtu.be/6PuxnMfb3Iw 

i couldn't come from the beginning, so just see how many many people took part at the march through the streets of old munich

friend, i still think about the small hobby village i've seen at our walk around the lakes in langwied yesterday. for more than 20 years it is this always open to all, there is some food, shelter, wood to make a bonfire, a library inside one of the always open tents? yes. if you asked me, it is a working society model, you know? open access + open source, it means everything belongs to all, also all of us care about it and share it wisely. something like linux, mozilla firefox, wikipedia ... it works, you know?

many people concentrate on the bad things and not on the good things. unfortunately, me often as well. anyway, as the year 2013 comes to its end, let's think about things which are right :-)

i'm thinking how to add the win of GMO-opponents (march against monsanto events) in germany (thanks to jörg bergstedt and others there were no GMO plants planted in 2013) and some success stories about regional initiatives ... please be patient, my dears ...

LINUX, FIREFOX, WIKIPEDIA, wo es keine patente und ähnliches gibt, wo alles allen gehört und alle haben drauf zugriff und jede(r) die aktuelle lösung verbessern kann um sie so für allen besser zu machen ... eigentlich ganz einfach, oder? und ja, in so einer welt wäre geld überflüssig / nicht vorhanden, also ganz anders als die ständige in-wert-setzung von allem im kapitalismus ...

an interesting social project in germany, where people can interact together in open spaces using a multifunctional cube shape it to different things like bridge, bench, children playing ground etc. WIRFEL (like würfel aka cube in german)

demokratie oder (herrschafts-)freie libertäre gesellschaft?

lieber kumpel,

für mich wäre echte direkte demokratie sicherlich besser als die heutige, von paar wenigen mächtigen über massenmedien und politikdarsteller gelenkte welt. so gäbe es wenigstens keine kriege a la afghanistan (große mehrheit ist bekanntlich dagegen) oder bankenrettungen auf kosten der steuerzahler. aber demokratie an sich ist echt nicht besonders gut, denn es ist immer die herrschaft der mehrheit über die minderheiten. mein beispiel vom letzten plenum über den demokratisch gewählten hitler + seine nazis und die bitteren folgen für kommunisten, SPDler, gewerkschafter, schwule, juden, meinugsfreiheit, usw hast ja sicherlich noch in erinnerung. eine mehrheit wird nämlich leider immer dafür wählen / abstimmen, die minderheiten auszurauben oder die negativen folgen des eigenen handelns den anderen aufzubürden. 

was wir m.m.n. brauchen, sind GRUNDFREIHEITEN für ALLE. also z.b. meinungsfreiheit, pressefreiheit, religionsfreihet, (weltweit visafreie) bewegungsfreiheit, persönliche freiheit, usw und zwar wirklich FÜR ALLE, auch für minderheiten und nicht nur für eine 'demokratische mehrheit' ...

ps: dem hitler reichte damals in 1933 eine demokratische mehrheit von knapp 52% (nsdap + kswr), hier der wiki-eintrag diesbzgl: Reichstagswahl_1933

also demokratie oder doch besser eine (herrschaftsfreie?) libertäre gesellschaft mit freien menschen in freien vereinbarungen? wie auch immer, ich freue mich schon auf deinen vortrag.

pps: liebe edjm, keine angst, ich habe nicht vor, der spammeister der gruppe zu werden. da das thema demokratie so zentral/wichtig in unseren überlegungen und hoffnungen ist, kann es nicht schaden, sich auch eine 'paar stufen bessere welt' vorzustellen, oder?

was für ein tolles buch, meine lieben :-)

selbst denken, wie schon der untertitel sagt, ist eine anleitung zum widerstand. und ja, der widerstand gegen den heute fast alternativlosen konsumismus, expansismus, lebensgrundlagen- und umweltzerstörerismus ist auch dringend notwendig, stimmt's?

ich fand es toll, mit was für einer überzeugung und was für einem engagement harald welzer die welt zu retten versucht. analysen, historische vergleiche und vor allem beispiele für echt nachhaltiges handeln auch in den jetzt noch suboptimalen rahmenbedingungen sind echt beeindruckend und ja, vielleicht muß tatsächlich eine kritische masse aus der heutigen gesellschaftsordnung austreten und was neues umsetzen, damit dieses beispiel dann als der neue weg gilt ... reichen dafür  5%-10% der leute, weil die mehrheit ohnehin 'nur' mitläufer sind? braucht somit meine geliebte OccupyWallStreet-bewegung ebenfalls keine 99% sondern auch nur paar vorreiter um das heutige finanz-militärische konglomerat und seine kleinen dreckigen politmarionetten zu crashen? wir werden es sehen ... früher oder später, denn zu lange können wir ohnehin nicht mehr verbrauchen als die erde jahr für jahr aufs neue bereitstellen kann. bei jeder mißwirtschaft ist irgendwann die vorhandene substanz verbraucht, auch die des unseren planeten ...

historische beispiele sprechen leider gegen die 'klugheit' des homo sapiens und das nicht nur die susbstanzvernichtung und folgende absolutkriege statt kooperation auf der osterinsel.

ok, ich möchte ja hier auch nicht zuviel verraten, aber vielleicht nur noch das, daß mich die ganze denke extrem sehr an den jörg bergstedt erinnert hat. ok, bergstedt hat mit seiner projektwerkstatt gleich ein lebendiges und funktionierendes beispiel für das 'gute' errichtet, dafür war jedoch welzer's buch viel leichter und angenehmer zu lesen als das 'meine' vom jörg (Freie Menschen in Freien Vereinbarungen: Gegenbilder zu Markt und Staat).

huge demo against GMO + monsanto in munich today, a part of a worldwide protest ... and a broad alliance of nature, green, farmers, OWS, democracy, freedom, libertarian communities on top ... pictures + eventually videos coming soon :-)

great wisdom + tons of information mediated by all these speakers out there and a nice music as well ... hmmm, did you know that monsanto produced also the agent orange chemical weapons massively used against the vietnamese people in the vietnam war by the u.s. aggressors? or that the protection of the german genetically modified potato amflora (= EH92-527-1 = EU name / patent BPS-25271-9), a product of the basf chemical company, is in the party programs of all the major political parties in germany as part of their support of the subsidies of genetic engineering. wtf, we have to protect a single product of a single company? poor german society ... but  there is still hope, my dears ... there are many farmers and many consumers who do not like the GMO food, who are not willing to buy GMO seeds and pesticides like monsanto's roundup which kills almost everything besides the one and only GMO seeds they have been developed for, who are not willing to poison their soils with chemicals (weapons of mass destruction of farmer's self-dependence?) ... and yes, there are still we consumers, aren't we? we decide what food & stuff we buy, the healthy one or the planet destroying one, don't we? make your choice, my dears :-)

btw, june 04.- 06. will jörg bergstedt visit munich again, make sure you can join one of his presentations, one will be about monsanto and GMO, of course ...
